Leinenkugel’s Summer Shandy
Beer with natural lemonade flavor. Get a taste of the freshest flavor under the sun-Leinenkugel's Summer Shandy. A Shandy is lemonade flavored beer, a European favorite during the warmer months; the light, crisp flavor makes it a great summer refresher. Each batch is carefully brewed using the finest wheat, malted barley and just a hint of real Wisconsin honey. Fresh lemonade and citrus flavors are mixed to create an adventurous taste that's perfect for those lazy days of summer. Available March.
Blue Moon Agave Blonde Ale
This limited summer release is crafted with agave cactus nectar and white wheat for a subtle sweetness and a balanced taste with a smooth finish. It’s like a little shade in a bottle.
Columbus Brewing Company Summer Teeth – Coming Soon!
A crisp, unfiltered kellerbier. This traditional Bavarian style beer originated from the small artisanal breweries of Franconia, where kellerbier is still a favorite beverage in the local beer gardens. Summer Teeth is a Great American Beer Festival 2010 bronze medal winner in the Kellerbier/Zwickelbier category. Available April – August.
Samuel Adams Double Agent IPL
Full of the bold grapefruit & piney character of an American IPA, this brew also reveals its smooth lager side creating a balanced, flavorful brew.
Samuel Adams Summer Ale
This summer seasonal uses malted wheat as well as lemon zest and grains of paradise, a rare pepper from Africa first used as a brewing spice in the 13th Century, to create a crisp and spicy flavor and body. The ale fermentation imparts a background tropical fruit note reminiscent of mangos and peaches. All of these come together to create a clean finishing beer, perfect for those warmer summer days. Available March – July.
Killian’s Irish Stout
Irish Stout is a very dark chocolate brown with a thick caramel colored foam cap and a dark chocolate bouquet with subtle roasted coffee notes.
Magic Hat Elder Betty
A golden haze for a summer's daze. Elder Betty is a Weiss-style ale with a bready malt flavor balanced by a touch of hops and complimented by the tart berry flavors of elderberry. Available April – July.
Genesee Bock
Our take on the 16th century German legend has turned out to be a legend in its own right. For every spring since 1951, our brewery has carefully crafted and lagered Genesee Bock Beer. The result is an exceptionally hearty, full-flavored beer with a slight malty finish—and a perfect way to celebrate the snow melt.
Pyramid Wheaten IPA
Boldly hopped with Delta and Mt Hood, and again dry-hopped in fermentation, our Wheaten IPA is both pleasantly bitter and full of citrus and hop aroma. A subtle blend of specialty malts and malted wheat compliment the hoppy characteristics creating a unique beer that is a direct nod to Pyramid’s rich northwest heritage.
Portland Brewing IPA
With a dark golden color and some of the most popular citrusy IPA hops as well as Sterling for a bit of spiciness in the finish, this IPA is hoppy like a Northwest IPA should be. Five different hops and a soft malt backing make for one great easy-drinking ale.
Sierra Nevada’s Ovila Abbey Quad with Plums
Rich, dark, and infused with the complex sweetness of abbey-grown plums.
Ovila Abbey Quad is heady with aromas of caramel, rich malt, and dark fruit balanced by the spiciness and delicate fruity notes of a traditional Belgian yeast. This complex beer is a collaboration between Sierra Nevada Brewing Co. and the monks of the Abbey of New Clairvaux. It features sugar plums grown on the grounds of the Abbey and harvested by the monks in Vina.
Session Premium Lager
Original Session, with the bright red label, is a classic all-malt pre-Prohibition style lager that reminds us of what American lagers used to taste like. It's flavorful, refreshing, and has a touch of that import-style taste. Oh, and it comes in a stubby, 11-oz bottle like your grandpa used to buy. Named World's Best Premium Lager at the World Beer Awards and winner of a slew of other shiny trophies, Session has truly earned itself a place at the bar. Not to mention the barbeque.
Session Black
Hints of roasty chocolate character. A subtle pairing of caramel and chocolate malt flavors with a balanced, elegant finish. Short, dark, and drinkable, a seven time Gold Medal Winner including the 2009 GABF! The second addition to the family, Session Black, carries the mantra of drinkability into new territory. Most beers this dark are so heavy-duty, you could eat them with a fork. Session Black, on the other hand, lets you have your dark beer and drink it, too.
Full Sail Extra Special Bitter (or ESB)
ESB is a traditional ale brewed with attention to balance, highlighting both malt and hops. A combination of crystal malts give this beer its orange hue, and caramel complexities. English challenger hops were used exclusively throughout. Aromas of caramel and herbs are followed by a malty, medium bodied palate finishing with caramel flavors and a crisp bitterness. Available for 90 days only - April to June.
Frankenmuth Dunkel
Named for the city it calls home, this German style lager has a distinguished dark appearance and a notably smooth sweet balanced flavor. The result gives our Dunkel a flavor of toasted bread and a malty finish. 2011 Medal Winner World Expo of Beer.
Labatt Summer Shandy
Labatt Summer Shandy is a premium lager beer with the perfect touch of 100% natural lemon extract blended in. The result is a liquid that provides an easy to drink, super refreshing experience.
Samuel Adams Alpine Spring
Brewed especially for the season, this bright citrusy unfiltered lager is both satisfying and refreshing. It’s the perfect transition from winter’s heavier brews to the lighter beers of summer. Borne of our brewers’ many trips to Germany, Alpine Spring features a unique blend of lager attributes: the balanced maltiness and hoppiness of a Helles, the smoothness and slightly higher alcohol of a traditional spring bock, and the unfiltered appearance of a Kellerbier. The beer is brewed with Tettnang Noble hops to add a unique, bright orange-citrusy aroma and flavor. Available January – March.
Sierra Nevada Bigfoot Barleywine Style Ale
Bigfoot is a beast of a beer, brimming with bold flavors of bittersweet malt and heaps of aggressive whole-cone Pacific Northwest hops. First introduced in the winter of 1983, Bigfoot is a cult-classic beer brewed in the barleywine style, meaning a strong, robust, bruiser of a beer with the refined intensity of a wine.
Sierra Nevada Ruthless Rye
Rustic grains, refined flavor, ruthless character. Rugged and resilient, rye has been a staple grain for ages and its spicy black pepper-like flavor has been prized by distillers and brewers for centuries. Rye thrives in the harshest conditions and comes to life in Ruthless, a spicy and rugged IPA with fruity, citrus and herbal hop notes balanced with the dry spiciness of the rye, making the beer aggressive yet comforting to bolster against whatever the winter winds may bring.
Great Lakes Brewing Co. Conway’s Irish Ale
Second only to dry stout as Ireland’s other most distinctive brew, red ale was first made popular by the G.H. Lett Brewery of Enniscorthy, County Wexford, Ireland. Conway’s Irish Ale has a notable toasty flavor derived from lightly roasted malt. Available January – March.
Pyramid Discord Dark IPA
Discord Dark IPA celebrates the marriage of two distinct styles, the Dark Ale and the IPA. The traditional bitterness of an IPA is juxtaposed against a black malt canvas, creating an ale that keeps your taste buds working to discover all the unique flavors imparted by the five different hops and five different malts. Available February – March.
Newcastle Founders’ Ale
The name, like the star on its label, is a tribute to the heritage of the five founding brewers of Victorian-era Newcastle. Its nutty brown color, light-bodied flavor and malty dry, bitter finish will make you as proud of our heritage as we are. Available in February.
Gordon Biersch Maibock
Maibock translated from German means the bock beer of May. Gordon Biersch Maibock achieves its rich malty flavor from dark roasted caramel malt, and lots of it. Originally brewed in the 14th century in the town of Einbeck, Germany, it quickly became a favorite style in Bavaria. One of the Bavarian brewers actually enticed a brewer from the North to move to Bavaria where the style was popularized. Maibock is a great beer to accompany robust flavors. The rich flavor from the dark-roasted caramel malt complements the moderate level of bitterness to create a perfect balance. Maibock is available seasonally from February through April.
Harpoon Celtic Red
Harpoon Celtic Ale features a deep ruby color, medium body, and a balanced malt bill created by Irish Ale malt and a touch of roasted barley. Rich in tradition and sessionable in character, Harpoon Celtic is the ideal Spring seasonal. Available January – March.
Oskar Blues Gubna Imperial IPA
This ale is made with three malts and one hop. Its light amber color and slightly spicy malt character are derived from the use of German Dark Munich Malt and Rye Malt, respectively. Post-fermentation dry hopping allows the 10% ABV monstrosity to gently coax the citrus rind and grapefruit aroma to join the 100 IBUs already present. This beer will greet you with a pungent citrus blast, provide a spicy yet round middle and finish with a brisk, clean bitterness.
Blue Moon Valencia Amber
Surround your nose with the aroma of roasted caramel malts and a touch of orange peel. This brew is a medium to full-bodied ale and has a deep copper amber color. Limited Spring release.
Magic Hat Pistil
Stop and smell the petals Pistil is a summer beer unlike any other, brewed with a combination of dandelion petals, Pale and Acidulated malts, flaked oats, and Apollo and Northern brewer hops that results in a one-of-a-kind beer with a slightly sour acidity and a smooth malt body. Available January 15 – March 31.
Rivertown Bock
Rivertown Brewing Co.’s bock beer seasonal lager is a big full bodied beer, with lots of caramel malt flavor and spicy hop notes. Our bock beer is a great way to welcome the coming of spring. best served at 48ºf in a brandy glass. Released in February
Samuel Adams White Lantern
The combination of tangy citrus sweetness and a hint of peppery spice enliven the crisp wheat character of this hazy white ale for a refreshing and satisfying brew.
Samuel Adams New Albion Ale Has Arrived!
Brewed solely with American Cascade hops, New Albion Ale is a golden American Pale Ale that holds a distinct citrus hop note and subtle piney character. A delicious brew, it's no wonder New Albion Ale inspired so many of the Pale Ales we drink today. Limited release starting January 2013.
