Coors Light's "cold in hand" innovation, the Cold Wrap Bottle, is a fusion of rocket science and Rocky Mountain cold refreshment. Each Cold Wrap Bottle has a 360° label with Outlast® technology to keep beer colder longer by helping to keep the heat of a drinker's hand away from the beer. Outlast® Thermocules™, the same high-tech insulator developed for space travel, actually reflects the heat from the hand, making the cold refreshment inside the bottle last longer. Cold Wrap Bottles, which are exclusive to Coors Light for the next year, are available in bars and restaurants.

Craft beer fans can now enjoy the sweet taste of loganberries, elderberries and blackberries any time of the year. The Jacob Leinenkugel Brewing Company used feedback from their Leinie Lodge members and Berry Weiss lovers everywhere in the decision to make their once-seasonal, Leinenkugel’s Berry Weiss, a year-round offering.
In an online vote conducted late last year at www.leinie.com, more than 2,000 consumers weighed in to determine the fate of Berry Weiss. An overwhelming 83 percent voted to keep Berry Weiss on the shelves year-round. After assessing brewing capacity, researching the additional brewing equipment needed, and sourcing the needed berry supply, Leinenkugel’s made the final decision to make life a little sweeter for thousands of Berry Weiss fans.
“Berry season is just too short in the upper Midwest and Berry Weiss lovers have encouraged us to make Berry Weiss available all year long,” said Jake Leinenkugel, president of Chippewa Falls, WI-based Leinenkugel’s. “Now, Berry Weiss fans can escape with a sweet taste of summer in the cold winter months.”
Since its inception in 1996, Berry Weiss has been Leinenkugel’s best-selling seasonal. In 2001, Leinenkugel’s made its summer seasonal available in 12-ounce cans in addition to bottles and draft, taking Berry Weiss to new occasions including activities like golf, going to the beach and enjoying a picnic or family gathering outdoors.
