Six years ago, you’d be hard pressed to find 19.2-ounce cans in convenience stores. That’s changed in a short time, as the stovepipe has undeniably become the favorite of C-store craft beer consumers grabbing a single, more than likely something hoppy and heavy.
“They really came out of nowhere,” says Matt Herbert, sales director for Tenth & Blake, Molson Coors Beverage Company’s U.S. craft division. “And now they’re everywhere.”

Molson Coors Beverage Company next week is set to release Topo Chico Spirited, its first line of ready-to-drink canned cocktails made with real spirits.
Made with real juice and filtered sparkling water, Topo Chico Spirited will launch in single-flavor packs of three varieties, each inspired by classic cocktails: Tequila & Lime (ranch water), Tequila & Grapefruit (paloma) and Vodka & Lemon (Chilton). They each check in at 5.9% alcohol by volume.

E. & J. Gallo’s High Noon Sun Sips is expanding beyond vodka with High Noon Tequila Seltzer, a tequila-based extension of the hard seltzer brand.
High Noon Tequila Seltzer is now available in a variety 8-pack featuring four flavors: Strawberry, Lime, Grapefruit and Passionfruit. The 4.5% ABV offering is made with “real fruit juice” and “real blanco tequila,” is 100 calories per serving and is gluten-free, with no added sugar.

NBC Universal (NBCU) announced its brand partners for the second season of the Peacock original series Bel-Air, and on the list is “first-time show partner”, Molson Coors-owned Simply Spiked.
“We’re so excited to partner with Bel-Air for their second season,” Joy Ghosh, Molson Coors VP of marketing, above premium and FMB, said in a press release. “With Hillary’s meta storyline, we’ve found that both [actress] Coco Jones and her onscreen persona match the energy of the Simply Spiked brand in ways that complement each other. We can’t wait for fans to see what Simply Spiked and Hillary have up their sleeves this season.”
