Restaurants are Closing Permanently Due to the Lack of Government Efforts
‘Free-fall’: 10,000 restaurants have closed over the past three months, according to the National Restaurant Association

The National Restaurant Association (NRA) has reported that 17% of restaurants have closed since the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic. Of those, 10,000 have closed in just the last three months. In a letter to Congress, NRA's Executive Vice President Sean Kennedy said, "What these findings make clear is that more than 500,000 restaurants of every business type […] are in an economic free fall."
